good price.
Wow, me and my mate used to warm our hands with my Zippo lighter while waiting for the bus after college
You might want to add the delivery charge to your price as the free delivery only applies when you buy two. Total should be £10.79 + £1.49 = £12.28.

With that said, it is a good price, even if you are just buying one, so heat added

Fiiiiire this bad boy up!

Heat added. Jeeez it was freezing on the Met Line this AM.

It's the only thing I wanted for Christmas, but santa didn't bring me one. I must have been a naughty boy, so I've bought my own. Good Price, heat added.
Gimmick - just buy a pair of glove - simples.
Most pointless product of all time?
onehandedbrian

Not pointless at all if wearing gloves isn't ideal for what you're doing! … Not pointless at all if wearing gloves isn't ideal for what you're doing! Hot!

Yeah I guess most gloves do come in pairs, so that's you stuffed!
Paid £27.50 for two of these back in October from Amazon, works very well & would highly recommend. Hot

Just bought another two for gifts. Seems a shame not to
bought 2 of these last year for my brother and his partner, they really find them useful.

Good find at this price.

Those that think gloves alone are the answer have never tried them I suspect.
I love these so good
I got one of these. Works very well but once it's lit, it stays lit and you only set how long it lasts by how much fuel you stick in. All a bit random for me and it seemed to overflow even though I was using the measure.

Still, it does work if you can be bothered with all the fiddling so heat added.

^^ agreed. Like onehandedbrian said - gloves don't always suit.

I shoot, so don't like wearing a glove on my trigger hand, but can easily pop my hand into my pocket for a minute if it gets too much

good for golf
If you want it in a hurry might be worth paying the extra 16p and getting it from amazon, I ordered mine last sunday from Firebox and am still waiting for it... even so if you are in no hurry then this is the best price so hot from me.

amazon.co.uk/TIN…g_1 that seems to be the best place to get the Zippo fuel from I ordered from 786 and got lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) as the first package they sent me was 2 cans of lighter gas, so they kindly sent out the fluid as soon as I told them and I got it the next day. so 2 cans of gas and 2 cans of fluid for £3.07 BARGIN!

Many thanks - I forgot to say (will also add to the top). Places like poundland sell the fuel (£1), it isn't official Zippo fuel, but you're also not paying for a brand.

Is that not the same as saying central heating is a gimmick, just buy more clothes....
If you are giving this to someone as a gift there is this gift pack available that includes fuel for £15.98

Nice gift for daughter and her piano teacher, bought 2! Thanks OP
Fantastic item, these things stay hot for ages...

I think that I read that if you stick it somewhere that is air tight.... an old metal tobacco tin for example, it staves it of O2 and goes out.

You can then light it on another day.
Bought one of these at Xmas for present for gf, absolute rubbish.
Sent it back.
Not voting either way as its a good price but crap product.
Used mine for two years. Fantastic for cold nights at the football and stays lit for hours.
Great price heat added I bought one for fishing, as I don't catch must my hand are always in my pockets
These are really good and stay hot for ages.
I've got one and the blummin this is near impossible to light. Also, the fuel doesn't last long when it's NOT being used. I use Zippo lighter fuel and IMO it just evaporates. It's nearly empty if it's been filled and left in my bag for a couple of days.

Sorry, but despite the popularity, I can't recommend it.
Voted on the price so , hot

The product itself is a waste of time, gloves serve the vast majority of purposes , as for shooting , so do i and i find it easier to wear quality gloves or gloves with a removeable set of "fingers" as do the members of our club.

Horses for courses but dont make excuses up for buying tat if they were useful they would be issued and theyre not.simple as that.

You don't need to. Use a knife to gently ping the little lid off and put the lid and unit somewhere safe, like a metal draining board. They only take a couple of minutes to cool.

Errr....just pop the burner off? Not with bare hands obviously. It'll quickly stop catalysing. No harm done. OFF!

It doesn't come with fuel, if you look at the second picture it says its a mistake and that you only get the warmer.
I purchased one of these like a year ago. Used mine for the first time today. Not bad.
i got one for christmas, took it to the match on saturday - brilliant, toasty hot pocket to warm my hands in...
got one ? get antoher for the other pocket,,,
For those who struggle to light these up outside, I put a few drops of fuel on the metal mesh. Light it up, leave it burning for a few seconds and then blow out.

Maybe not the most recommended way to get it going but works.
Brilliant product, used mine just yesterday while watching rugby. Toasteeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
I think these are wonderful. I use mine at footy matches and end up passing it round our gang!! If you put loads of ful in, it'll last 24 hours!!

Great product and great price

Personally i just man up remove the lid and use that to gently twist the burner unit off. Have been using mine since the weather turned last year. Only used about 6 133ml tins of lighter fluid! i pick mine up at a local smallworths for £1.40 a tin. Warm hands for me (oh and for bonus points get one of them blow touch style butane lighters to light it in no time! (dealextreme.com))

Dont be a tool, how can heat be a gimmick? oO ...Im not exactly a doctor of physics but even my minuscule mind and primary school education tells me that having a heat source in your pocket may just warm up any hands placed in that pocket.

Friends in the army use these type of hand warmer when working outside in cold climates or deserts at night, they swear by them.
Good bit of kit. As someone already posted, you can use any lighter fluid. £1.20 a tin from asda should give 7/8 refills.

I dont use the measuring jug, its easier just to fill the warmer from the fluid tin.
For blokes, it's cheaper to run hands briskly in trousers pockets. Hand warmers are sissy!!!!
