Only 2TB, plenty of free sites give 50, Mega for example.

Mega is 50GB? This is 2TB.

perhaps you could provide a link to a site that offers free 50 terabytes of storage ?

or actually learn the difference between gigabytes and terabytes?

Good deal for backup. I posted that before to try and help others but stupid mods removed it stating that the site was not a UK one and not something that could be used on HUKD.

haha, my mistake, I do know the difference but it kind of got forgotten....

To set the record straight Mega offers 50 GB not TB.

I've got a basic free Zools package, my only concern with a lot of these smaller cloud providers is what happens when they go broke or get bought out. How cast iron is the 'lifetime' bit?...

Very true. I figured if I get a year or so for this price I'll be happy.

Lifetime usually refers to the product, or the company.

I've got loads of different cloud accounts and use IFTTT extensively, as well as offline backups.

Exactly. I would rather just invest in an external hard drive for backing up my data tbh

I use Zoolz for backups but I would also highly recommend pCloud for their other cloud storage features, speed, track record and reviews as well as flexibility. I was really impressed by them that ended up buying their lifetime storage as well as their Crypto subscriptions. Quite pricey but a worthwhile one-off payment my priceless data cloud backup.

True. But then no guarantee that will last a lifetime either. I agree with you. It's just nothing lasts a lifetime so strange to describe a product as such.
