Loved the film, but not sure how you can maintain suspense over 5 seasons?

LOL_is_stupid

Started strong but then just got so bored of that whiney biatch with his constant “Motherrrrr” :(

I have Thor Ragnarok and Spiderman Homecoming and both are just upscaled 2k so very disappointing. Nice HDR on Thor though. Shame when Passengers for instance is in full 4k and actually one of the best looking films i have seen.

Afaik the signup10 code at zoom hasn't worked with "buy x for £x" deals for a month or two now. Has anyone actually been able to get this price? (i believe signup10 still works on everything else as many times as you like though, it will be a real shame when they fix that XD )

jiraiya

Are any of these likely to be released in 4k?

It's a shame there isn't a 4K + 3D combo. I like films like this in 3D, but this one is proper 4K on UHD Blu, so that's a draw too. Sigh. First world problems...

elizalambert318

A 12 hour chase movie until they run out of space petrol. Luke milks some boobs, then goes fishing. I am done with SJW Kathleen Kennedy's agenda.

packard

The UHD and blu Ray combo with 10 is good value from zoom

jazzuk777

...I'm hoping this doesn't start a TLJ is great/worse crime against movie history ever debate. :o

SimyJo

I bloody well hate this crap movie, but cannot sing Zoom.co.uk's praises enough. They have replaced Amazon as my pre-order site of choice, and incredibly they get your pre-order to you sometimes even before the official release date. Bladerunner 2049 3d Steelbook turned up delivered a full three days before the official release date and before it hit the market retail shelves at my local Sainsburys. And the disc I ordered before that also was got to me 3 days before release. The code in question still works for repeat purchases... but "Shhh... It's a secret!" 🤫

Thanks OP! These are a steal. Would love to watch on blue-ray. These films make me feel strangely nostalgic about my teenage years and want to reconnect with them in a way that I can't quite do. Very hot OP!

lf1983lf

I know these are bad, but paying me £5.40 to take them? I'm going to need you to add a few zeros :D

LoRdPlOps111

Yup. I mean the films themselves revolve around growing up but yes, seems like only yesterday I was watching him hump that pie, now I've got kids, responsibilities, less teeth....sigh.

American reunion it’s called. I did a marathon not that long ago and after the first ten minutes of reunion it was all rehashed jokes and this time poorly executed imo.

Still makes me laugh just remembering watching the repeats on BBC 2 as a kid, with Harold Lloyd and Buster Keaton.Voted hot.

parkieg

Search 'Laurel & Hardy Blu Ray' on Amazon, or elsewhere. Just because a film is old doesn't mean it won't be available in HD. Quality film stock (the kind used by studios since the 1930s or earlier) holds a much higher resolution image than even a 4k Blu Ray. So, provided a good version of the print still exists, you can make a HD release of almost any movie shot on film. Hence why you can get Blu Rays of King Kong (1933), various Hitchock films from the '40s, and even a few Laurel & Hardy features.

spatter

I hope not!

LJM321

are they in colour?

misterleoni

I think it's because their comedy is mostly physical and otherwise about the way they interact with each other. It's effectively timeless. I watch comedy I used to love when I wasn't little now and it seems completely rubbish - probably because that 60s and 70s comedy was of a style that we have moved away from. Physical comedy will always be funny if done well.

Just been rewatching some old episode. Season 3-5 In the last week. Blooming brilliant

LennyLeonard

Yeah I saw that from a few days ago - they said it while accepting an award from a left leaning organisation, so I assumed it was a joke that some have taken literally? Who knows, but after their takedowns of Trump and Republican policies in the last few series I wouldn't be so sure. I've seen them described before as libertarian or not really aligned with any political party and that I can see making sense. Me too, and hand on my heart I've always found it fantastic the way they manage to weave in important social commentary, and stand up for the little guy, into a show filled with fart gags and profanity. I'm not having a go btw, fair enough if you don't like it, it's interesting how two people can watch the same thing and get something completely different out of it. I was a bit thrown by your comment that only bigots would like it though, as in my experience it's completely the opposite.

kreames

I think any programme that deals with social issues whilst not boring me to tears is great. Heat from me.

Emptypacket

That is exactly why this show is still going 20 odd years now, gets up the nose of everyone without an ounce of humour in them. Not a massive fan of the political guff but the 1st 3 series are legendary.

Classic comedy gold.

stevebananer

I read Rodney Bewes revealed in a newspaper interview that Bolam's wife was pregnant. Bolam was notoriously private about his family life, and never forgave Bewes. Strikes me as something you should be big enough to get over.

mmachine

easy to say when what was said was not said to or about you,as we will prob never know what was said best to give the benefit of the doubt, dont forget it hurt james bolam just as much as rodney bewes in the pocket but thats just my view

sowotsdis

no, not ever there are grudges and eventually people come to terms and make peace then there's just pure hatred and selfishness which is utterly deplorable

mmachine

it depends on whats rodney bewes had said to james bolam for him not to forgive him,its easy to say not nice when you do not know what was actually said, personally i would give james bolam the benefit of the doubt

Kevin_Kane

Worst thing about watching this...it has no ending. Left high and dry

Yas

Go straight to series 1 episode 4 I think is the worst. Keeping skipping chapters, and check the audio is still in sync. If it's the same as my set you'll straight away notice it's really out. Not just a little bit either! Makes it unwatchable.

Shame the big Tokyo fight scene in colour has never been released here. Wasn’t Tarantino meant to release a combined Kill Bill 1/2 years ago that never happened?
