First film you watch once and quite quickly forget about. It's decent but that's about it. The second is very good, and quite original in its mixing of genres.

It's worth noting that 10 Cloverfield Lane was never conceived, written, or even initially filmed as a sequel to Cloverfield. It was supposed to be its own film. The decision was made very late in production to tag on the Cloverfield name, and add in an extra scene or two (the same scenario happened with the third film, The Cloverfield Paradox). Therefore your experiences of the first film shouldn't have any bearing on the second. I didn't like the first film either, but I thought the second was excellent. (y)

(popcorn) (shock) (lol) Shaky cam, invented by camera men/ women who were too weak/ lazy to support a video camera :S

Yeah multiple articles stated Krasinski was dead set against it being part of the franchise but I'd say it had a lot to do with Paradoxs crapness and rushed sale to Netflix. Overlords out in a few weeks is all I know!

Didn't realise A Quiet Place was ever anything to do with Cloverfield! Good movie, I'd say better than any of the others. Overlord out yet? Long time since I read up on it.

Agreed :) There's isnt many films these days you can watch with your kids that's not an animation these days. :)

. Rowan Atkinson landed his insurance company with a £910,000 repair bill after crashing his beloved McLaren F1 supercar, it has emerged. The McLaren F1 super car belonging to Rowan Atkinson after the crash on the A605 near Peterborough Photo: EPA/Rex The actor and comedian span off the road and crashed the high-powered vehicle into a tree in August 2011, suffering a fractured shoulder blade in the process. But its value has significantly increased over the last 15 years - with one sold last year for £3.5 million. After getting back behind the wheel 16 months after the crash, Atkinson said it was “like putting on a familiar sweater”. He told this month's Classic and Sports Car magazine that he was not a fan of hiding cars away like toys and insisted they should be used. "I'm not a collector. I don't like the toy cupboard syndrome that causes so many good cars to evaporate," he said. "It depresses me that they are hidden away like investment art, or gold ingots in a Swiss vault. "The McLaren is just so usable, it is a crime not to use it. No gritted teeth, you just get in and drive." Atkinson crashed the car on the A605 near Haddon, Cambridgeshire, not far from his Northamptonshire home. No other vehicles were involved. He first crashed it in 1999 when he collided with a Rover Metro driven by a 62-year-old. McLaren manufactured just 64 F1s when production began in 1992. Its 6.1-litre BMW engine can take the car from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds. Atkinson is well known for his love of fast cars and recorded the fastest lap time in Top Gear’s Star in a Reasonably Priced Car when he appeared on the show in August 2011. He told presenter Jeremy Clarkson he was keen on racing and was currently driving a 1964 Ford Falcon. But his racing expertise did little to quell his nerves before taking on the challenge, he admitted. In a clip of the show Atkinson said people would “assume that in the reasonably priced car I will be very good when there's absolutely no guarantee of that whatsoever”. But the Blackadder actor notched up the fastest ever time on the show, completing the circuit in 1 minute 42.2 seconds. Technicians spent four weeks analysing the damage in a bid to determine how much it would cost to repair. Atkinson’s insurance provider was then left to decide whether to repair the car or to replace it, eventually realising that it would be cheaper to repair. The car then spent more than a year in the hands of McLaren's expert technicians in Woking, Surrey. The avid car enthusiast bought the 240mph vehicle for £640,000 in 1997 with the proceeds from his first Mr Bean film.

Quite enjoyed the latest one :D

Avengers: 3-movie Collection (4K with Blu-ray) [UHD] - £44.99 (with code) @ Zoom - Pre-order for 26/11 Release
Found 10th OctFound 10th Oct
Works out at £15 per film, buying individually you'd pay over £60 at the moment.

514 degrees hot suggests yes, this is a good price...

Voted cold because that price is astronomical, is that seriously a good price for 4k Blu-rays? £15 per film, including the discount of being a collection? That's absurd to me. I guess you've all got some serious home cinema setups eh? Sorry for the vote (:I

I may, or may not have been serious :p

Will see next year

You are wrong! It’s actually called Avengers: Return of the Revengers

Agreed Xen thought the remake was slow and boring, give me this anytime, retro and imaginative (y)

Might be down to a case of nostalgia bias, but I never took to the remake - pretentious and contrived - and still find the original entertaining.

Cheers chanchi, been holding out for this box set for a while (y)

It probably is in many ways, but it's also pretty hard to compare the knockabout action of the 70's series with the grim and philosophical approach of the remake. Dirk Benedict's Starbuck was at least as good as Katee Sackhoff's version, but in a completely different way. Probably the only decent episode of Galactica 1980 was the 'Return of Starbuck' which was a bit like the plot from the 80's film Enemy Mine.

A rare case of the remake being better. I still like the originals though, stormtroopers had nothing on cylons in terms of looking ominous.

But when they show them on TV during the weekend afternoons they've been edited to f****. That's one thing I hate about watching a film on TV that you've watched dozens of times - the stupid censorship edits stand out a mile. Not to mention commercial breaks.

"Roads?, where we're going, we don't need no roads ... " I luvvvvvvvvv it. :-)

All three on zoom total £20 separately . My maths seems solid.

Well they aren’t £2.98 each so that’s one reason.

You do realise that 3 X £2.78 = wayyyyyy less than £9 right?. So how is the £9.99 for all 3 actually cheaper than that of what is presented to you above by the OP anyway?. I'm not sure I quite understand the reasoning behind you comment ... lol.

Thanks OP. :/ I have an Optoma projector with powered 3D glasses - Can i watch this and I also have gravity 3D on PC that shows as 2 split screens...can i watch that in 3D on my projector?

I love how a blu-ray disc put out to extole the virtues of 3D comes with a 2D version :D Edit: just realised the OP made this observation in the description. Note to self: read everything before posting!

Amazing Spider-Man is on par with GOTG 3D wise but just because of the flight battle and space scenes I’d say GOTG is better. It is ‘fake 3D though digitally mastered I believe but really well done. I was blown away watching it in IMAX on release but it looks great on TV too. Edit: Forgot to mention another amazing 3D movie and a good movie too is Legends of The Guardians Owls of Ga’hool it’s animated and really quite breathtaking in parts. When I first got a 3D TV I found myself putting the disc in and pausing it when an owl was in flight with a wing sticking out of the screen, clouds and sunset in the background. I’m a sado (popcorn) Hugo is another good movie for depth.. Ok i’m done (y)

I have Guardians 3D...not watched it yet...will look forward to checking it out now. Best 3D movie we have seen is Frozen (the computer animated movies are usually good-excellent). Live action I'd have to go for Amazing Spiderman which had brill 3D...shame the followup faked the 3D though. Still to watch the Hobbit movies in 3D (again real 3D not faked). C'mon people....we can save 3D! :D

I'm tempted by these too as I'm only now getting in to the Marvel films and I like a good box set that saves room and money over buying each film individually. Plus Phase One especially seems to quickly go out of stock everywhere. Is the 10% Zoom code a one time only code or can you use it multiple times? It's just that Phase 3 doesn't come out til November.

Not looked yet, I just opened the box. Not sure if you can get them separately for the same price ish. I've never seen them at £5 each.

What's the quality like? I'm considering just buying them all separately as they work out at the same price ish

Ok I bit the bullet, and bought all three. Phase 2 arrived today.

3D Discs are still being released for those of us who enjoy the format, cinemas are still showing 3D films too. It’s far from dead, but maybe past it’s peak
