Anyone like to suggest an alternative at this price? With windows pre installed? or is it because its very?

I think it's a mixture of it being cheaper to build yourself and shocking customer service from very

I dont get the customer service complaint... they have always been fine with me

is it much cheaper to build yourself with a legit W10 key.
it's probably touch and go .Very are an awful company though .

The problem when spending this sort of money on a desktop is not knowing the full specification in terms of Motherboard, Power Supply, Disk Drives.
Sometimes you will find that the KEy specs advertised are good, but in order to get the price money is saved on other components.
i5-6400 - £170
GTX 1070 - £350-400
8GB Ram - £35
1TB HDD - £35
Optical Drive - £15
so about £600 before Case, MoBo and Windows.

Its a good price for a pre-built, however if you are serious on wanting a VR ready machine, I would suggest building one and maybe spending a little more to ensure you have an SSD and up the RAM to 16gb. Either that or try and find a detailed spec list so you can check which components have been used - the 1070 cards can have a lot of difference depending on the version you get for example. The MSI listed on HUKD for 379 at the moment would be a great choice in a home build.
PC Part Picker is your best friend as it will do compatability checks for you. Try starting with this:

Its more than this machine but you can play around, upgrade/downgrade components to see what you can get in the budget.

or try awd-it.co.uk/awd…tml

You can make tweaks to the build to add what you want but its £729 so cheaper than the very one as well.

Add windows and Its more than the OP price, though it is a better choice by the looks of it.

The Zoostorm is advertised as only having 1 usb 3.0, that would cause me concern about the quality motherboard.

zoostorm don't make decent boards and usually don't have overclock options or boost etc and limited upgrades for cpu etc
