Previous Zoostorm Computer Deal

Whats the relevance of this expired deal?

I suppose for more money you get a better deal..but that's life.

These are older generation computers in every way.

Wouldn't this be a better option?
How much would the extra ram cost?
Has a better processor to make up.

RAM costs around £48
Link m.ebay.co.uk/itm…RCH
So 199.99 + 48 = £247.99 which makes it expensive!

For extra £9 you get a generation newer processor.

Worth it if you ask me...

Yeah I'd probably agree, there's no real need for 12GB of ram, 4gb will do for the average user and besides, you'd only need to buy another 8GB not 12GB to be comparable. I'd want to put in an SSD before increasing ram.

£199 for an i5 4440 desktop is pretty good outstanding value I reckon.

I've just realised that I posted a deal from Zoostorm Ebay a few weeks ago and it got pulled because Mods said it didn't have enough feedback (+1000) - so expect this deal to get pulled.

I've bought 2 of these

6gb ram and another £10 off.
No OS but that shouldn't be a problem

Do these have a graphics card installed?

Where have they found these machines from? The cpu is 5 years old now. Old but not obsolete.
I'm just amazed any stock still exists.

You do have to wonder don't you! - I suppose they could have a load of stock kept back for warranty support that is now no longer required (do some users buy a 3 year support package so they keep some spare stock and now the support is up they clear the stock?)

The CPU was still being sold in 2012 and possibly as late as 2013 in some end of line machines. As you say old but not obsolete, I've got a similar 3570 from 2012 Dell XPS desktop and it's absolutely fine for all tasks I throw at it including HD video editing.

I'm replacing a 2.5ghz quad core (Q6600?) That I have been using for years and it is still going.
I use it for some basic photoshop and basic home video editing using premiere pro.

This should be a huge upgrade.

none left

This must be an old computer, the CPU is an Ivybridge model, in other words 3rd generation, which isn't in an of itself a bad thing, just that the integrated graphics (in this case I think HD Graphics 2500) have improved significantly in the intervening years. The Intel Core i5-3330 came out in 2012.

Hopefully the 1050ti will be OK on a 250w psu as the 750ti is. If that's the case they will convert these into good little gaming machines. Worst case a 750ti will make it a decent machine as will the 75w 950 (although expensive for what they are)

already sold out? jeez! Missing out all day today on these computer deals.

I really need a new build, been running my rig since around 2011. Was gutted to miss out on the i7 deal.

Maybe there will be some black friday or cyber week deals on motherboard bundles? *fingers crossed*

What spec you running?

I'm still running a 1st gen i7 Bloomfield system (920 @ 4.0GHz) with a 560ti and it still holds up pretty well but gonna upgrade graphics soon probably to a 1060 since no single card maxes out even PCIE 2.0 bandwidth and I really don't care enough about having USB3.0 and SATA3.0 to switch up to a newer generation mobo and CPU just yet.

I'm running an i3 540, 8gb ram, gigabyte motherboard, supernova gold power supply (got this last year as my ocz blew). Still got it housed in my ancient Thermaltake X full tower case which has 7x 90mm fans that I bought in 2005 lol. Need to change my case too, already have something in mind well have been thinking about it for a long time but first I need to sort myself out with a new mobo+cpu.
