Thank you, missed it from the title.
How can Windows and Office even fit on 16GB of storage?
Then add the updates on top. Not gonna be pretty.

Yeah, gonna be a bit of a squeeze. My HP Stream has 32GB and it soon gets clogged up with updates and temp files. I have to use cleanmgr every so often to reclaim space.
missleading

It's £40, what do you expect?!
I've got one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32GB-7-VIDO-W7-DUAL-BOOT-OS-WINDOWS-8-1-AND-ANDROID-4-4-Tablet-Pad-UK-STOCK-/201437031005?hash=item2ee6952a5d
32gb and android and windows
That's gonna be real tight for space even if you add external memory but with the HDMI it makes an incredibly versatile little machine. I keep parroting it but aside from general computing these are great as a portable Kodi machine you can use at home or at friends/family etc. To me they are much better than android boxes and mini windows boxes with similar specs as you get all the versatility of a tablet on top.

Really? I have a 32GB Asus T100. Even with things like Asphalt 8, Office 2016, iTunes, Spotify, Firefox, a myriad of store apps etc - I still have 9GB free...
Shame it's only 16GB. I've said I might pick up my sis a cheap Windows/Baytrail tablet (budget around £50), not sure what to get her. I know the Linx 8 can be purchased from 3monkeys for around £50 Best Offer but wondering if there's other alternatives - nearly a year since I walked in the rain to get my Linx 10/Staples bargain

Shame its not 1200x800, dunno how well win 10 handles this res. Use my linx 8 every day, atom is plenty powerful enough for my needs.
ZoomStorm always says to me.... Compromised crap.

However this is a Windows PC in a tablet form for £40. 10 years ago, well even 5 years ago, you'd have said no way this is science fiction.

Windows tablets are infinitely more useful, especially for web browsing, torrents (cough), just having the whole Windows ecosystem at your fingertips and with lightning fast bootup is a revelation. I'd prefer a Swype keyboard but you can't have everything. Once you have one you'll wonder how you managed without it!
Has anyone actually found this at any other stores? For 40 quid is worth it just for the office subscription.

I got one of these last year in the black friday sale - very good little windows tablet. I upgraded it to Windows 10 with the help of a usb stick and with office and a heap of apps installed, it has 1.5GB free. But I leave a 64GB microsd card in it and set all the OneDrive and Documents paths to be on the sd card so you'll only ever use up the hdd space with apps. Battery is also very good, well worth the money imho.

edit* i also have Kodi on it and with hdmi out, it's an awesome wee media centre

Well I've tried 4 different Asda stores in the Leeds area today and none of them had any, even got them to check there systems but they just said it was a deleted item. Very disappointed
Surely worth it for Office alone? You usually just get a card with a registration key so you can put it on any device.
Just grabbed the last one in the York store. Cheers op!
