Anyone seen any low profile 1050s or 1050tis going for cheap recently?
What sort of games is this good for?

Dependent on the rest of your build it should run everything at low to med settings, older titles will run maxed out. I run PubG at around 50 FPS paired with a i5 2400 and 8GB DDR3 although does drop a little in large cities.

Have you tried Fortnite? Interested to know what frame rate that will run at in 1080p with this card.
Can this output 4k at 60hz? That's all I need it for really
Fortnite will get 60FPs with this , if not more .
Its not too much over MSRP at this price is it?
Not tried it but my understanding is that Fortnite is less demanding then Pubg

With everything turned on epic settings ~40FPS, but reducing a few settings doesn't impact the game much if at all. So comfortably 60FPS with high settings and lowered shadows to medium. Assuming you have a CPU that was considered decent from the past 5 years, preferably quad core.

Benchmark test from last week. Even the RX460 2GB (a much slower card) managed well over 60FPS on high settings with shadows turned off, that was the most dramatic performance gain.

Ta. Typically I get away with medium-high on all games with 40+ FPS. I might get 60fps on this with the Epic settings.

I've tried out mine with quite a few different types over the past year, and I'd have to say it works best with PC games.
Good find. I have reordered this. Bought it last week at £167. Amazon have agreed to allow me to return this one and buy new one at lower price.

Sorry wasn't clear, not for gaming, just general use. Paired with Ryzen 1700x
Nvidia - he say yes specs
In fact a standard GTX 1050 is specced at Quad 4K - 7680x4320 at 60 Hz RGB 8-bit with dual DisplayPort connectors or 7680x4320 at 60 Hz YUV420 8-bit with one DisplayPort 1.3 connector.
That's for office use only <cough>
Expired
For anyone who has ordered. Just had email and they've brought dispatch date forward for me to 16th of April instead of 23rd!

Yes. As long as you use the DisplayPort. If you try using HDMI it will be restricted to 30Hz
Got an RX480 4 gig for this price with Doom last year, what's going on as I would of thought this would be £100 tops?

I tried the game out yesterday. I set everything to high other than draw distance which I set to Epic. This gave me a solid 60fps. Do you get a gameplay advantage from 120fps?

I find it seems to run snappier at 120fps if that makes sense, maybe just a placebo effect but seems to be better to the eye.
