It's cold in here.

This card is far from the best, and £100 more than they've been.

Agree. Definitely not the best and others are selling for over £100 less, scan have a Innovision version for £476

If you read the reviews, the price that they were previously selling at (via Amazon Marketplace), customers were receiving the lower (non-extreme) model.

Which current GTX 1080 beats this card in performance?

don't buy the gtx 1080 guys because the 1080ti is round the corner and a staggering 35% increase in performance is gutting as I spent £600 odd quid on mine

the gtx 1080ti will be $699 and probably only £700 over here

Yeah, it's pre-orderable at £699.

I am waiting for the aftermarket cards, msi, etc.

Agreed with regards to the Ti coming out, however this is the highest current performing GTX 1080 at present and is at it's lowest legitimate price. To the people disagreeing please show some reference to your claims.

Which is better than the OPs post?

Prices on these about about to crash the new 1080ti is about to drop around £650 you would have to be insane to buy this

Just google it, you'll see, benchmarks, cooling, noise.

Anyone trying to justify spending £600 on a card when you can get extremely similar versions for more than £100 less is a fool, and you know what they say about fools and their money...

I'd rather spend extra ton and pre order 1080ti which will make all 1080 cards look average.

Think ill hold off for the 1080ti

Exactly what I am doing, EVGA 1080ti, ASUS 1080ti, MSI 1080ti are the ones I'll be looking at.

The amp extreme edition is a very powerfully over clocked GPU but considering there are cards at 450-470 which is 20%-25% cheaper, you need to ask does the performance increase real time by 25%? And I don't mean the artificial benchmarks, I mean fps.

Quite simply, no it doesn't. With the ti at 100 (16%) more available, whilst giving a 35% boost, either way this one doesn't make much sense

SENNYO1

the second to last (I've been eyeing it out) is on average maybe 3% slower if memory serves but 15% cheaper so definitely much better performance per pound
