Not a bad deal for the GTX 1060 3GB GPU. Seems to be one of the cheapest 1060 3GB options currently. Free delivery.

Selling way above manufacturing cost - that's an unusual concept

Hot, great price.

It's ridiculous how much these GPU'S are selling for, well above manufacturing costs. Just because there is a high demand for them doesn't mean you have to over charge customers.

What it's worth, I guess it's an okay deal when compared to all of the other offers competitors are selling their GPU's for

RRP was around the £180 mark for the 3GB card when it was released i think so not an amazing deal; however, in the current GPU market it's probably as good as you're gonna find. Wish it dropped to £150.
Cheap as chips cooler on this thing as well.
I wish the mining fad would end or atleast require specialist hardware.

I'd agree these should by rights be £150 by now. I actually managed to get one of these for £135 before the whole mining craze kicked off, which was insanely cheap. I since sold it and traded up to the 6GB version as I run a 4K screen so need all the VRAM I can get. Still a very strong option for 1080P though...

Sorry, is capitalism new to you? They will sell them for what they can get up until the point where they are losing money on them, then they will stop selling them. I want one of these cards and I'm reluctant to pay this much but there is no point in complaining because many ARE prepared to pay this much. What's the company to do, insist on selling them at minimal profit because it's good for their souls?

Unfortunately it doesn't look like ending soon, if anything it will cause the prices to increase further in the future as more gpu power is needed for mining. There is specialist hardware available but only for certain currencies. I wish gaming and mining were separate markets as it would lower cost for both.
And don't forget Zotac cracking extended warrenty.

I guess I'll be ordering Volta at launch then to get a next gen card at RRP.
How much better 6gb version is actually better? In user.benchmark website it shows it's about 10% better. So when you think 6gb version sells for 250 and this one you can grab for 175. Is it worth to wait for 6gb version sale?

Lucky for me then, I've got 1080p predator with g-sync, so it should be amazing improvement from my current pc. Bough this one and all other remaining components to build (first time) a pc and upgrade from this all crap i got now. Everything arriving on Friday, so wish me luck.
Good deal, good card. Heat added.
