Solid deal compared to recent prices - still not expecting the next gen Nvidia cards until later this year, and that will be the GTX 1180 first, with the 1170 to follow later, and Vega seems to remain overpriced, cheapest 1070 is only £17 less and cheapest 1080 is like £80 more, so there's not really much competition at this price point ... perhaps for up to another 6 months? We'll see ...

Back down to basically under RRP prices. £16 cheaper than it's ever been according to PCPartPicker history.

If you're building a SFF PC, this is (IMO) just about as good as it gets. The same cooler as the 1080 and 1080ti version, but it doesn't throttle like the big boy, plus the 1070Ti is only 5% behind the 1080 all the way up to 4k gaming.

Anyway ... not expecting to go hot hot hot, but it's a solid deal still.

Here's a review of the GPU if you're interested.

Remember that the 1070's are allowed to be factory overclocked while the 1070ti's were banned from factory overclocking by Nvidia so they didn't encroach on the 1080 sales. But they will all overclock to similar clocks with ease and safety - should be around 1950mhz-2050mhz without any effort, and some will go higher.

The 1070ti ends up closer to a 1080 than it is to the 1070 once all is said and done (in my experience and reading anyway).

Well they have a free collect in-store option, so it's a true price technically for those who can get there, though if you need it delivered then you are correct, it's £409.85 for standard delivery.

Heat added. 1080 performance for nearly the price of a 1070.

same price at amazon, you should post that as a different deal as i imagine many people would prefer amazon amazon.co.uk/dp/…T1J
Here is that cheapest GTX 1070 as well, if anyone wants instead (though I think the 1070 Ti is the better value option at these prices):

*EDIT* - apparently Aria dot co dot uk are banned on here? That's weird, the site is perfectly fine. Anyway, the GPU is the Palit Dual and they have 3 left of their super-saver options at £383.99 if you're interested.

Good find - it was £419.99 last I saw there IIRC, but I would order from Amazon first too frankly. I'll edit the OP and credit yourself.

1070Ti's are already closer to 1080's even stock.

This is a very good buy, just be aware 'mini' versions of these GPU's tend to have *slightly* lower limits on overclocking and can require higher fan speeds(thus being noisier) if you're trying to push things or play a very GPU demanding game.
Plenty of graphics cards in stock now. Is it worth waiting 1-2 months for prices to fall further? Most of the mark up here is from retailers/wholesalers. As everyone gradually holds normal stock prices should fall.

We know AMD and NVIDA are increasing production.

Free postage for members of the forum, not sure what post count you need as it was passed many years ago so its a bit like the prime deals on Amazon in that respect

You can never be sure with GPU's and mining these days but my money is staying put for now for two reasons.

1. Eth mining is moving to AISC so demand for GPU's should drop leading to depreciating prices

2. 11xx is not far off at which point prices should drop or your money will buy a faster card from the new range.

If you are building a PC now its a good price but i would not currently reccomend an upgrade if i had a working playable rig
I think it was 50 posts they needed within a certain time frame. I built a new system last year. This should last me a good 10 years hopefully.

The danger with waiting for something new is short supply and strong demand pushing up prices. I really doubt there will be huge supply. They may use the new cards as an excuse to raise prices. Stop the supply chain eating all the profits due to stock shortages.

Oh wow! Seriously? A company, promoting their own deals, on a deal based website? Outrageous
Great deal imo. I paid 350 for a 1070 last year, 50 quid more for a boost is worth the cash
Apologies I may have stolen your heat. I posted the amazon deal, it didn't flag it up sorry. They are back in stock on 19th at the price you've shown. I can expire my deal if u want.

Don't worry about it mate. Your deal is further up the list now, and so long as it helps people to find the best prices, that's all that really matters. I'll expire this one instead
