This is the slightly smaller/cheaper 3GB version.

For the price, a rather decent card.

1152 NVIDIA CUDA Cores

1506MHz Base/1708MHz Boost Clock

3GB GDDR5 8000MHz Memory

This is a useful, modern card with around the performance of a GTX970/RX480/R9 390.

Can't condone the 3gb under any price sorry, the 6gb is the way to go, this card should have been the 1050ti. we already use 4gb in games and to make things worse the actual 1050ti uses 4gb of vram a really strange choice or a big error in judgment.

your implying that the 1050ti is better, becoz of the 4gb ram ?? maybe choose the 480/470 instead ...

Lol no that's not what I was implying and I already have the 1060 evga superclocked 6gb, so no I meant what I said to put 4gb on the 1050 tti but not the 1060 cut down is stupid since the 1060 can easily use the 4gb more than the 1050ti as stated were already gaming using 4gb and this card will nail 1080p but works as an ok 1440p card crippled by cores and vram, that extra 1gb would have helped its been noted that 3gb is just too little and lops of a few frames in every game if it had been given just 1 more gb it would breath much better and only core count would be the issue.

192 BIT BUS dictates 3gb afaik if its 128 or 256 then they can use 2gb/4gb 8gb .. they probably could put 4gb on it maybe, but it would be inefficient at acessing the extra 1gb . They should maybe release a 1060 with 6gb and the fewer cores etc ...

Ye I know they can't use 4gb has to be multiples of 3 apart from that the 192bit bus is fine and runs the 6gb 1060, the gpu could easily use 4gb even with cut cores, which is why I said the card is pointless and I can't condone it at any price.
the 3gb hampers where as just that extra 1gb would free that up regardless of the cut cores.
the card should never be released it's already being choked of by some game on release day the card has no longevity and as such is a total waste of money, for the extra few quid you can buy a fast more vram card that will last 3 years no problem.

The core cut is unacceptable first off but that's not what will kill the use of this card it's the 3gb of vram it's already playing with one hand tied behind it's back, by this time next year this card will struggle to play newly released games with and real textures and already people will be having to turn down settings to accommodate the 3gb limit.
