Fairly detailed review of the cards overclocked brother, the AMP Edition, here: xbitlabs.com/art…tml
Given that they use the same exceptionally high performing cooler it should be easy to OC.

I know its been uploaded a lot now, but many people, including myself, have missed out on previous deals so hopefully this will help those who have.

I wish I had the money, hot for that price

Misprice ? Probably for the 660 (non TI version).

Doubt its a misprice. Been a few of these about this price recently as they are "last gen". Although they do have very similar performance to the 760. Ccl have them on their ebay for £168 so should be fine.

Seriously want a GTX 760 but this is a cracking price in comparison to be honest, if only it was a different brand i'd buy it (nothing wrong with the brand, just don't like the orange and it would ruin my theme)

Doing a new build and want to go green, the last one I had was a 8800 gt. What CPU would be good for this card. I'm doing a small build. Case will be a Node 304, would love one in white but cannot find a UK stockist. Primary use will be gaming. Anyone suggest something in terms of CPU? Not looking to OC.
Thanks and heat added.

Only option you have is Intel so really comes down to your budget. I'm using a 3rd gen Intel i3 in my gaming rig and it's a great little performer for around £90. Otherwise get the cheapest 2nd or 3rd gen i5 processor you can. Should be around £150.

I'm tempted to buy this for my computer. It's a dell vostro 270mt with i5-3470 CPU and 6gb RAM @ 1600mhz.

Will this graphics card be a good match with the above spec? I'll be buying a new PSU.

in a word yes it would be a good match, if the psu is 400w or better no need to upgrade

Thanks for your help. PSU is 350W and doesn't have a power cable for the graphics card so will definitely need a PSU.

Very tempted to go for this!

For this graphics card a balanced set up would have a CPU Passmark of about 3000-6600 (i3 to i5-3470). But as you move from i3 to i5-3470 (CPU Passmark 6600) the law of diminishing return sets in for this graphics card as >70% of the processing is done in the graphics card anyway. Personally I would look at the prices of CPU vs. graphics card and determine value for money with your budget.
I am using an Intel Quad Core with 3000 CPU Passmark (low end of this range) and achieved a 3DMark11 combined score of P5700. What you can do is to have a look around the 3DMark11 scores and see what CPUs that other people use. I think the maximum combined score for the GTX 660 Ti 2GB is around P8500 (performance mode) with an Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme Edition (3.30GHz).

A real bargain. Well spotted OP. Hot.

it wont be amp edition as the Mnfr Code: ZT-60802-10P applies to standard 660 ti. Amp mnfr code is ZT-60804-10P

Can anyone point out how to flash this card into the amp version?

seems to be a few things online stating you just need to overclock using the nvidia cp? in that case, makes this tempting. Although I would suspect the amp version would have a better suited cooler given its factory clocked?

actually just read the op link. seems its identical in terms of the amp cooler. bit of an easy decision then. going for the cheaper ccl version over amazon and just clock it as I want, plus free game. good find op!

anything including and above i3 will be plenty. I'm running mine with 3220 I got for £50 off ebay.
