Lovely looking phone. Begs the question did Google design the pixel with their eyes shut? Amazing what you can buy now for a reasonable amount of cash, heat.

Great deal, heat.
Good deal, heat. Designs a bit too copycat Huawei for me
Looks great (especially for that sub-£370 price), but only 6/10 review here: androidpolice.com/201…amp, the main negatives being the software implementation & the cameras' image processing...
"Software: ZTE's customization of Android isn't the most heavy-handed I've ever seen, but almost every change is for the worse
Cameras: Just not good. All the megapixels in the world can't salvage crappy image processing."
Gorgeous piece of kit, despite aforementioned shortcomings

Well the thing is, with Google you buy as much software as hardware.

Some people may prefer their understated, industrial design (not me)

It's not as bad as iPhone 11 Pro's back, feel of matted glass pretty amazing apparently, as well as tech on forehead (but they chopped the ultra-wide selfie marvel)
Beautiful!

Agreed, not 90hz though

No, 90hz is overrated anyway.

Cue all the oneplus users baying for my blood

It's all about 120hz. The smoothness on the Rog 2 is amazing but the size is bothering me enough to sell it on.

Not a smart move, 4 phones in 5 months

Most valued company in world only needs to put out 3 per year, and some shareholders complain it's one too many

It's no wonder they do, but company shoots itself in foot - who wants a 7Pro now? (few months since launch; apart from me at right price, but not more storage space at home)

An every pixel phone from the first to the last looks terrible. Also the specs aren't anything special with the camera being only exception. And pixels do not come cheap!

Exactly, that's the only use I can think of. My phones can't handle the games, cod, mcoc etc

Pixel 3xl is above Notchland
Good build and SoC.

I assume a gcam port can't help this one?

From a couple reviews I saw they say the camera wasn't that bad.
Still running the Axon 7, SD820, bit long in the tooth now but great for the money (£185 24 months ago).

HTC Desire HD
LG G2
LUMIA 950XL
ZTE Axon 7

This has taken me from 2010-Present, for the sake of the HUKD servers don't type up your phone history please @MrSwitch

Yep, that's it, the Desire got used for almost 4 years I'm sure, the G2 was a big leap and then I went off the rails a bit and had a brief visit to W10M, moved back to android as my son's school's app wasn't available for W10M.

Agreed many like stock android, although I've been using nova so long, I skin every phone the minute I open it. Best software I've ever bought.

I think it only matters in gaming over 60 fps and thats it, the rest of the conversation is useless or pointless. I have had Rog phone at 90 hz since february and I dont see if it really has a daily use impact, ofcourse its a plus to have it and well thats it. I have had and have devices at 60 hz and would careless as it doesnt justify and do enough ..
