Found 9th Apr 2017
Not to be confused with the popular so-called lagers that have been shamefully altered in taste and lowered to a standard 4.8%alc by AB InBev/SABMiller....'reducing the alcohol level by 0.2 per cent from 5 per cent will mean less duty payable to the UK Government as well as lower raw material and energy costs'

Offer price £1 when you order by 18/04/2017. Offer subject to availability. Maximum 20 promotional items per customer.

Was £1.61

NOW £1.00

*found in the World Foods aisle (or whatever they refer to it as) - also worth noting that these are 500ml cans (like you get from the off licence) - NOT the usual 440ml supermarket sized cans

ONLINE/IN-STORE

Particularly a good deal if you know someone who works for Morrisons, as it's double staff discount (20% = 80p a can!) week - until Thursday

As previously stated, it's better than sheep lager
used to like zywiec when they sold it in bottles
how is this compared to my regular tipple 'special brew'?
This tastes horrible, strictly for the down'n'out.

With your Rustlers burger you'll be fine
The Polish need to stick to Vodka, no offence intended, their beer is too gassy, if I have to drink their beer then it's Zywiec that I drink. Lech isn't too bad, Tyskie I think might be the most popular Polish beer but it's horrible.

The Czech's and Slovaks know how to make beer, Zlaty Byzant, Pilnsner Urquell, Kozel, Budweiser Budvar, they're all good stuff.

Bought Budvar mini keg during Morrisons' last offer - very disappointed. I hear what you're saying though. These are not the best of the Polish, but better than the normal crap, imo
Ahhhh the drink of choice for our recent visitors from the East who like to sit around all day attempting to catch Swans for tea !

Daily Mail ? Would not wipe my 'arris with that. The only thing leaving a bitter taste, is this beer and your hessian flip-flops !
Warka Strong - cheapest way to make your partner more attractive.
The Zywiec original that Wetherspoons used to sell that was a delight!

Warka Strong is really nice! Sure it's strong and will get you **** fast but if you're like me and just want a can while watching the telly then this is nicer than most IMO. I'm not a fan of Zywiec though

Since 2000 I've worked with South Africans, Russians, Bulgarians, and two Polish IT technicians, if the majority of English worked as hard as these folks then Britain truly would be great. There's definitely hard working English people, but to generalise that Eastern Europeans are swan eating drunks is nonsense, only some of them are just like some of the English are idiots too. Many Eastern Europeans are leaving the UK, so the farmers better get their robots working as the English are too work shy for the job. "I won't get out of bed for less than £10 an hour and only to play my Playstation mate and smoke weed all day". Also not all people on benefits are scroungers either, I thought I might as well do the whole lot whilst I'm here

Me: 46 years old. Born in England, lived in Wales for 20+ years, been on benefits for 4 years of my life 2002-2006, worked for most of my life, been ill with mental health problems, still working, working keeps me alive, c'est la vie. Everyone is different.

I remember when I worked in London the security guard in work told me a story he said he went back home to Leeds and was telling them about working in London, and one of his mates said "Oh yeah but there's loads of black people in London, can't be good living there" The security guard turned round and said "Well it's a lot better than living with a bunch of racists!"

Anyway this is BBQ weather so time to let the beer flow, I'll try and not kill any swans if I can help it.

All those beer you just mentioned are tasteless international light lagers. Virtually indistinguishable one from another. Polish craft beers are great and you should try this instead of basing your opinion on beer style that is identical all over the world;)
In my opinion Tyskie is a better beer. Better than other popular brands that you can buy in off licence. However these days there are a lot of fake beers that get imported from China where they stick a label on and sell it as original product. Only buy from trusted places. Trust me even Tesco and Sainsburys sell fakes when it comes to Eastern European food/drinks.

I don't doubt what you say but whats a trusted place? If a supermarket has the potential for dodgy stuff where do you go?

These are good for preloading before you get to the pub. Don't buy the can with the bison on it, though. It's truly awful.

Sadly of the Polish ones you mentioned, Zywiec is owned by Heineken and Tyskie and Lech are owned by SABMiller, so about as authentic as cocacola... Okay maybe not that bad but still not a patch on what we have here. Thus with beer the only thing the Polish seem to be sticking to are multinationals.

Speaking of which, never heard of Zlatý Bažant but it's been owned by Heineken for over 20 years whilst Kozel is also owned by SABMiller.

standard polski sklep price (although mine has recently gone up to £1.10) and far superior to most supermarket canned tosh for the same price.

ignore the strong/mocne varieties, these are proper tramp juice. just go for the standard zywiec, tyskie, lech. i'm a big fan of perla and zubr.

If you don't mind full flavour and can drink responsibly, Okocim Mocne should not be ignored

i challenge anyone who quaffs 7.5% canned lager to drink responsibly; it sorts of defeats the whole point.

Some people are more mature/responsible and don't need to quaff can upon can of lager. Each to their own.
Sadly none in either of my local stores

I found mine in the (Polish, Asian) world foods section, not with the other beers - it's online, so worth asking a store employee

face it, no one drinks it for the taste, especially from a can. you are in the extreme minority.
