OK most of you guys know what these are so I'm not sure what to pop here apologies - apart from they're small, cheap, fast and in a PAIR!

Whoohoow let the good times role!

Juuust in case, you plug one end into a mains with a wire going into your router, the other plug into a mains near a device that you want to use with a wired network connection (aka Ethernet) and you have yourself a wired network - handy for gaming apparently!

You can do other clever things such as plug these dewbury's into other wireless routers and use upstairs as repeater 'type' devices to extend the reach of the signal.

Will these pair up with some tp link home plugs that I have?

Yes

Are these much better than what can be found on amazon for the same price? amazon.co.uk/gp/…ers

Anyone used such for gaming purposes? How does the latency compare against regular cat5e ethernet?

have 3 pairs of these, over the 6 months of ownership, one plug from each set has died. yet the cheaper (at purchase) tplink ones still going strong.......i certainly wouldnt buy any more, and i own other zyxel products which i think is a good brand.......just saying

Great product at cracking price!!

The £19.99 amazon ones are 200mbps. These are 500mbps.

This a 500Mbps, the amazon tplink is 200Mbps.

I would not buy ones without passthrough! Not voting either way on this deal.

Thanks for not voting cold, what price do pass-through start at typically? I can't tell.

I have these, one broke but I was sent a new pack of two as a replacement so didn't mind!

Some Devolo ones at PC World (only 200Mbps though) on offer at £19.99 (down from £24.99)

Is there anyway i can compare the actual download/upload rate that i get when 1. i use my wifi 2. use these adapters.

i am seriously questioning this because there is no noticeable increase for me and i am wondering if i can confirm my "theory" by carrying out a test or something
