Have been looking for a good deal on XyZEL 200 Mbps homeplug adapters, since I missed the last deal back in December.

Just ordered 2 Twin packs which should come to £99.66 including shipping if quidco comes through.

Perfect if you need the extra bandwidth over the 85Mbps ones.

PowerLine HomePlug AV Adapters 200Mbps (PLA401) allow small office/home offices to be completely networked using the electrical wiring already present. Perfect for streaming high definition video content, audio streaming and Internet connectivity.

* Perfect for bandwidth hungry applications like HDTV streaming and gaming
* No power leads integrated plug enables you to connect straight into your plug socket
* Create a hassle free home network through your plug sockets with no need for additional wiring
* Alternative to wireless, no dead spots, no interference, no performance issues

Anyone know how these compare to the ecent Scan deal?!?

The scan deal was £43.69 delivered.

Yep I got them from scan. One thing I do have to add it was only free delivery at scan if you had registered at avforums and had 10 posts.

I knew about the Misco deal too but its not as hot as these have been offered on scan and Amazon recently in the £40 range. Still a good deal mind if you are looking for a pair right now.

Bear in mind these are big and will probably take up two slots on a socket extension.

I currently have a wireless router connected wirelessly to my pc. I'd like these to stream files from my pc to my media player, would 2 be enough to do this?

Could i still use wireless from router to pc & these between pc & media player simultaneously or would i need 3 for this to work?

JIT - you need one by your router and then one by each device you want to add to the network.

If your router, PC and media player are in different parts of your house, then yes you'll need 3 of them.

Hope that helps...
