some of these have real basis though
chewing - food takes longer to eat so gives the body a chance to know when its full.
often you will eat alot more than the body 'needs' because your stomach hasn't yet told the brain its full.

ear stapling - dont know but probably based on accupuncture/accupressure.

caveman - cavemen were so much fitter and stronger than we are today, their diet let to massive intake of healthy fatty acids etc. This is sort of a healthier atkins and has become pretty popular with strength trainees.

the others - ok i'll give you those^^
just watch out for the meat shake make with offal (lol )
