Check all the stings are out, if not swipe across with something like a credit card to remove them. Hold an ice pack or something cold against the swelling will reduce the pain. If you get short of breath or feel unwell get to an a&e. That is a lot of stings and even if not allergic can be at risk of complications.

You are lucky. That would kill me.

Casualty dept at local hospital would be my first port of call. I watched "999" back in the nineties. I remember a runner get stung once in the neck going into anaphylactic shock & nearly dying.

Then again there were 7 wasps buzzing near me & I waited to stamp on them got 3. I don't think it was a lesson learnt. So maybe you'll survive? I'd like to know the outcome

Why are you strimming the garden at gone 11pm at night!?

Wasp stings are a strong alkali so you need an acid to neutralise it. Put some malt vinegar or lemon juice on a cotton wool ball and dab it on. I'm allergic to those gits too!

If you have an allergy from wasp stings then you would know that they could kill you. I find it strange that you could say any different. You do not have a serious allergy at all.

& you are providing advice which is not only wrong but could be lethal

well I'm still alive, I kept of gardening for a while after, can't leave the garden half finished! But had to pull my strimmer away from the nest by the cord, looked like I was avoiding mines or IED's neighbours must have though I'd gone mad.

Few weeks ago I stamped on 1 wasp and minutes later got stung by a horse fly which is possibly even worse than a wasp.

If you had a proper allergy then you would be passed out by now, in shock & on the verge of death.

Its true mate. Had it since a five year old. The last time I got stung by one wasp I sucked the poison out for 30mins but still passed out after for about 5 or 6 hours & had to tell my other half to call for adrenaline if it got worse.

Its not funny or cool. It you have an allergy its serious ****

Oh by the way.. That sting missed a vein by a couple of millimeters.. In which case would have been a whole different matter.

I'd live in fear of anything buzzing, theres a fly bothering me tonight and everytime I hear the buzzing after what happened earlier I start swatting the air with my hands in panic, if I had a allergy I dread to think

Well. The first time I realised I was allergic was eating a jam sandwich at 5 years old & swallowed a wasp that put me in hospital for a while.

Luckily enough I have only been stung twice since & got away with it.

No I dont carry any just yet archer. But the last time made me think that this is the time to do so. It scared me. Made me proper ill.

The ironic thing about 16 years ago my mum got stung at a garden centre and went into anaphylactic shock for about a year after she got offered some desensitizing treatment whereby over time they built up her tolerance. Then at the end all they said was once she completed the treatment well lets see what happens next time you get stung. So now she carries 2 epi pens at all times.

Seriously then you should get at least 1 on hand and have your loved ones know how to use it god forbid if the worst happens if you cant use it on yourself.By the way the treatment they offer now is much more advanced.

Its a long time since I heard that. Had injections that were getting stronger every month. It worked with my other allergies. God they were big needles. From what I have read is that bees & wasps stings do not work though.

That is my experience anyway.

As for allergies i suffered really bad as a kid from hayfever and had a series of injections and all i remember was they were a series of different colours and seemed strength by the end my whole arm would be completely numb and it would be completely dead for a least a day after.Unfortunately it seems some people have died from these injections but it did clear up my hayfever.Did you go to St Thomases for tests etc

just bought one from poundland but has no batteries and is still in wrapper ...typical

I'm allergic to just about everything . The cucumber on a ham salad roll once sent me into shock . Ten wasp stings and my leg would resemble an elephants by now . I'm on super jumbo maximum strength antihistamine for life now but one side effect is that my asthma has never been better . A silver lining to a very inconvenient cloud

yeah thanks.

Urine is good for any sting, so you you could've just **** on your leg. Pee is acidic so neutralises the sting.

The allergy information was made as an addition to the advice I gave. I carry an epipen. It's clear from reading further up the post that the OP doesn't seem to have an allergy, I was merely posting a bit of friendly information about myself, not stating this is how you treat an allergic reaction. I thought this was obvious... You seem to have a bee in your bonnet about being allergic to them! You're not the only person in the world who suffers from allergies. Sincerest of apologies for deeply offending you.

I've had about the same amount of stings on my chest, I was hanging from a pole and a wasp managed to get in my t shirt and stung me uncountable times. It was burning and I was dehydrated. Anyway went to my friends house and he had a cream, can't remember what it was but I'm assuming some heat cream and that completely cooled my chest, without it I would certainly be in a&e.
