1080p 37" or 42" TV for less than £600 from reputable company

Looking for the best possible brand TV for less then 600.. as cheap as possible but 1080p either 37" or 42" which ever can be found please let me know.
I've seen some good samsung deals with dixons and empire direct however i was put off from empire direct after all their bad reviews.. if they can't treat customers right then i certainly won't give them my money.

so any deals from reputable companies will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes it may be £19 over budjet BUT you get a FREE 5 Year Guarantee when purchasing from John Lewis. I purchased My tv from them. Oh and just to inform you the guarantee isnt dodgy, it is for parts and labour. Some people thought it was just for parts. Anyway i would highly recommend John Lewis because i do not know another company that offers a free 5 year guarantee. xxxx

Yeh but you get 5 years warranty with any tv they just dont inform you of it - your tv is under warranty for an acceptable amount of time

No no you get 12 months warranty with the shop but

All items must be made to satisfactory quality if something breaks within an acceptable time period e.g like 4 years or so the company that makes it has to replace/fix it as long as its a manufacturing fault not you spilt um bongo on it

People dont actually realise this and pay extra for 3 years warranty

Basically its so the comapny cant make something that lasts 1 year otherwise they have to keep replacing ti its some consumer legislation or something - anyone quote me it ?

I get what you mean. I recently rang trading standards and they explained to me what your on about. Its under section 75 of the legislation act, Any data purchase i.e TV, Laptop, Computer etc, are covered for 6 years. And its best if you purchase any of these via a credit card, as the credit card company are equally liable for this, and must look into the problem if there ever occurs one, and refund the money, or sort it out with the company you purchased from xx

I presonally have never had an LG TV nor do i know anyone that has so couldnt give you any advice on this. I know Sony are the best make by far, but pretty expensive thats why we got a Philips this time. xxx
