Unfortunately, I did Scottish Power (who I'm already with) not noticing that retentions don't pay cashback. It's tracked but will no doubt be declined eventually.

whats the score if you havent long changed to another supplier? do you have to stay for a certain time, seems that you could just do this constantly otherwise ?

It should be stated in the terms & conditions when you first sign up whether you're locked in for a set period. If so, you'll usually have to pay a penalty if you change supplier within such period.

Try Scottish Power - also offering big cashback and they work out as the cheapest major provider for me.

I just got paid my cashback from Scottish Power so i'm on the way to NPower but i clicked it when it was at £45!

Still free money, it's my brothers flat but since moving out i manage all his utility bills!

Don't touch Npower and Quidco- you'll never get the cashback.
Just had mine declined and as you know it's useless contacting Quidco
Get the feeling quidco is siphoning off a bunch of money on the basis that the cashbacks are declined by the sellers!

My Quidco (£130) has just been declined by nPower. Switch occured without issue and they've already had 2 months' payments from me without problem. nPower are useless and I think I'll be returning to BG as soon as I can without penalty.

In my opinion, Quidco are brilliant and have helped me out with several enquiries in the past. I'm not surprised at nPower from what everyone else is saying here. Steer clear people - you'll not get a penny out of nPower for love nor money!

I just got declined as well by nPower (£130). I followed all the rules and am still with them currently. Not happy at all.

    raise a query then

Mine declined too! Query it as through insistence they have agreed to look into these again.

Update- mine was finally validated today after a long struggle with Quidco and nPower!

Stay away from NPOWER they are a nightmare 5 months it took me to change my gas to edf and they offered me £50 compensation the sooner they are not allowed to trade in the UK the better. call centre staff all sing from different hymn sheets
