By now you've probably already seen Goonertillidie's post detailing these new Amazon button thingymabob, but did you know it's completely hackable, allowing you to repurpose the Button into something a little cooler/ more useful?

The hacks difficulties range from novice to advanced, and as long as you don't mind a little programming here and there, along with a tutorial; you should be all set!

First off,WHAT IS DASH BUTTON?

Amazon Dash Button is a Wi-Fi-connected device that reorders your favourite product with the press of a button. Each Dash Button is paired with a product of your choice, which is selected during the setup process. When you're running low, simply press Dash Button—ensuring you never run out of your essentials again.

1. Call Uber

those ideas all sound much more fun than ordering wash powder... something that you can obviously tell is getting low.... (none left in the box!) and then pick up at the suprmarket with the rest of your weekly shopping where more than likely it'll be on offer far cheaper than amazon can price it at?

Thank you for this post, the 99p deal and the current £2.50 deals make purchasing the buttons to get the £5 credit and buy items you were going to buy anyway cheaper but becomes useless afterwards. I have over 10 buttons, looks nice in the cupboard but with the exception of toilet paper, they are not used
