    16 hours in London

You arrive in London at 07:00 and leave again at 23:00 with no time/way to book anything in advance....what do you do? I have this very dilemma so any ideas would be great! Cheers.

What are your interests? If it was me it'd be museums I suppose.

Maybe try the shard it's beautiful and you can see the whole of London from there

Natural History Museum, one of my favourite places to go in London. Also you have all the art galleries.

what day of the week is this? are you doing it tomorrow? If so where do you arrive? use Google maps and plot out a decent tourist route .. we spent a day in London done a boat tour up thames, London Eye and walked about parliament and tower of London. . we did up from bout 10 till 6ish so sure you could fill in the rest..

Depends if money is an issue.
The museums, covent garden and camden are all interesting free places to have a wander round

Walk from Victoria to Westminster - over the bridge to the South Bank and along the South Bank to Tower Bridge. On the other side of the river, loop back past the tower of London, walk through the City of London to St Paul's. [This first part takes you past many of London's key sites - Big Ben, The Eye, City Hall, the Tate, The Globe etc and could take hours depending on how many you go inside].

From St Paul's take the tube to Covent Garden and explore that area. Or go to South Kensington and check out the museums. Or go to Green park and walk a loop around Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Regents Park, the Mall etc.

personally I would get a room and rest but if u haven't seen London then just buy a day travel card and go to waterloo for london eye and then walk to see rest of centre London for museum the history museum is very good n free walk between tower bridge n london bridge perhaps
Greenwich has couple of nice attractions like free naval museum n GMT pendulum
for evening food some Arabic food restaurants in edgeware beside some good casinos or if u fancy Indian food go to Southall which is very close to airport and food is cheap as well

Harrods ..selfridges ...Oxford Street...Buckingham palace...London eye...

If coming on Monday make use of free travel and coffee if you have a newish Android phone and a Mastercard. See separate thread.
Adding to above suggestions go to Tate Modern on the top floor for fantastic views for free.

Going to London this Monday to see Brit Floyd at the Royal Albert Hall, so this will help with ideas to kill time. Thanks.
