I am in urgent need of a new monitor. I am currently at uni in the middle of a project and my old monitor has unfortunately died on me! Due to this being such a busy time I would really like a new monitor for early next week.

I would be looking at something no more than £150 please and a 19" widescreen would be ideal!

Thanks in advance! :pirate:

You could try http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32981 which is dealing with the same subject.

Try the Xerox XM3-19W (great specs just for a monitor), search on ebuyer for the best price, i found it for about £135 inc dev as i was looking at a similar sort of thing, but then decided I wanted a tv-tuner in it too as I'm also at uni and short on space and money. PC World have an ugly old Advent 19"widescreen monitor and tv-tuner for about £160 delivered, or you can go premium and get the Samsung 19"TV&Monitor from Curry's but its going to be about £100 more expensive, but looks a whole lot nicer. Hope this helps.

Cheers Rich. I looked at that Xerox and it seemed pretty decent for the price.

This is the better than the Xerox monitor??

I'll leave that to others to answer as I've no experience of either...you could google to look for reviews on these models?

This one has had terrific reviews. ]http//ww…tml My son has just bought it and is very pleased. You might find it slightly cheaper elsewhere, but Play are the only place I could find who have it in stock. Delivered next day as well even though I selected the free postage option. Supposed to give 2% Quidco, but mine tracked at 4%. Look on Amazon for some reviews, but they have a 6-8 week delivery time.
