1TB external hard drive - which one to go for outta these?

hotukdeals.com/ite…-5/

or

direct.tesco.com/q/R…spx

I'm so confused with them... the overall price doesn't matter as I get staff discount from Tesco so that takes care of the delivery price there (my store doesn't do collect from). So basically just wondering which machine is the best choice?

I've filled my 298GB hard drive on this computer... last night I got a pop-up from Windows telling me to delete stuff!! Only had the comp couple years now, so I've been told external hard drive is the way to go,

Thanks for any help!

I have the Iomega, Tosh ordered, I'm happy with the Iomega, rumours that the Tosh is low spec 5400rpm/8mb cache, I might stick he Iomega inside my PC, we'll see how much USB bottleneck bothers me first.

Well, it was mentioned in the thread that it was a WD Greenpower drive, which is designed for low power consumption and quietness rather than being a low spec because it's cheap.

But if you're using it externally via USB then it's unlikely to matter, the USB connection is going to limit you to 25-30MB/s for large file transfers anyway.
