Decent deal from a good company, hot from me.

But I misread the title thinking you got 28% off all glasses AND the quidco and code.

You don't get 28% off you get 10% then 18%.

I'm getting a fatal error through the Quidco link - ~It could just be that I need glasses!
- anyone else having the same trouble accessing the site thru' Quidco?

Don't worry. It's working again now.

i'm sure its a good deal but also try www.googles4u.com. Very cheap. Had about 3 pairs now with no issues.

ordered, thanks

Ordered prescription sunglasses from them and they were perfect. Good company to deal with. Hot from me!

A common mistake, used by marketers to their advantage.

Carpet Right are the worst offenders, they always have a sale on, that is either 60% off or 50% off + an Additional 20% off, fooling you into thinking you are getting 70% off when in fact because the 50% is taken off first then the additional 20% the total discount is 60% not 70%.

It's stupidity of people in my opinion, assuming that it'd just be 70% off. Were it 70% off, they'd advertise it as that. Not companies fault that the majority of people can't use logic!

I think goggles for you work out much cheaper and they give free delivery and cash back plus discounts off future purchases. I think I have had something like eight pairs form them over the years. Oh and they have something like 1000 frames compared to the 250 offered by glasses direct. So voted cold.

I always wanted to buy specs on-line but it just seems like a bad idea given how many pairs I tend to try on before finding one that fits me & look right.

Good deal

Makes the discount 26.2%.

So isn't this just a Quidco deal? I didn't think we were allowed to put up cashback deals anymore

I thought exactly the same thing. The Quidco element doesn't count as a "deal" so it's really only 10% off which isn't something to write home about. Cold, sorry.

and that 10% code has already been posted by edi - so there's nothing new at all

Code already posted ]here

Quidco is a bonus & thread moved to misc.

Thanks for the report

Thanks. I just ordered a new pair, and these savings covered the cost of the anti-reflective and scratch resistant coatings which would have been £15 extra otherwise.

Something tho bear in mind if you need glasses on an NHS prescription:

Glasses Direct

Do you accept NHS Vouchers?

Unfortunately we no longer accept NHS vouchers as a form of payment due to complexities we had in processing these for our customers. We do accept most credit/debit cards, PayPal, cheques/postal orders and Accor vouchers (normally issued to you by your place of work) as payment.

I just broke my glasses after being heavy-handed with them!
