    I'd forgotten :-( You're right- thanks McD,

Best thing I heard about it was that the friends & family of one victim have organised a comedy night (for charity) in their honour & to remember them by (as it's just the kind of thing they'd have enjoyed), rather than leaving the whole thing as completely negative.

    Thanks, McD.

    A sad anniversary indeed. :-(

i was in London the other week when the bombs that didnt go off were found, im sooo glad im not there this week as i would be worried with todays anniversary.

Thoughts and sympathies are with those that had families and friends involved with this incident.

The 52 victims & the approximately 700 casualties weren't just Londoners, they came from all over the world (Sierra Leone, Australia, Bangladesh, South Africa, Colombia, Poland, Romania, New Zealand, Israel, Iran, Afghanistan and China) & represented more than a few major religions.....
]LINK that puts faces to the names.

When you click on the faces on that link there are obituaries for each victim & it's when you start reading them that you will be truly disgusted at the senseless waste (I think we all already know it was but this will REALLY bring it home to you)

I believe you mean faces to statistics.

    It makes me worry...

Leeds Rail Station was evaucated this morning - abelit for only 30 minutes - everyone assumed it was a bomb scare.

Luckly there was only a fire underneath (the station is built on a bridge)

Certainly days like this make you more wary and concerned.

I meant just what I said JD. I've been on news sites that have listed the names & you probably wouldn't even read through them all. By having the 'faces' put to the names & then the obits/personal details it definately has a much stronger effect.

I have read through it before, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't heart wrenching.

    Its awful :-(

    Its tragic.

I'll never ever forget that day. My wife always went to London on a Thursday. Had we not of had out son Harrison, she wouldn't have been on maternity leave and would have more than likely been on the Aldgate tube. Always brings a tear to my eye especially today

    Then good for you.

I'm glad some feel the need and have the power to research the people behind the news story.

I feel for everybody that has either lost their life or lost someone in the tragic events that happened two years ago.
