Looking for another hard drive to go in a Dell 546 Tower computer. (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dell-inspiron-546-desktop-2-5ghz-am/455771).

Any clues? I was thinking of a Seagate Barracuda from Amazon £74.99. Unless there a better option suggested here.

Do I need the 1 X 46CM data cable & 1 X 20CM SATA power adaptor?
TIA

Price now back to £80.00 (2010/10/19)

Most desktop computers come with spare Sata power adapters inside the case (you could open it up and check).

If it is a "bare" hard disk then it WONT come with a data cable so unless you have a spare you will need to buy one.

The Samsung drive is interesting but I need the space because my digital cameras are using memory quickly. I want to transfer my old CDs and DVDs to HDD as well.

Would SATA II work OK?
