3 Network are refusing to repair my partners mobile

    Hi my partners sony k850i stopped charging and so 3 took it in for repairs with it being on a contract and today i looked on the tracking of this phone and its was confusing so we called them,we then got told 3 are not repairing it as it has liquid damage!!now this is my partners phone and all it does is go from her hand bag to her ear and no more.

    i checked on google and it seems alot of phone companys use the liquid damage excuse.

    spent 20 min on the phone to them and got no where.

    she still has 6 months on this contract too

    any help would be great thanks


    personally i would have sent it direct to sony ericsson. did you send the battery? was the label on it marked? they change colour if wet. even if some condensation gets to it, they can change colour (red i believe).
    Most likely if the battery has this then they saw it and looked no further.

    Could always ask for the engineers report on the inspection? tell them you need it so you can take it further...its a start
