    30-35L Comfortable Rucksack - Budget - £20-£30

I'm looking for a new rucksack, about 30-35L. I want one that's comfortable with padded shoulder straps and back. Also preferably one with a waist strap for when I'm cycling. Plain design/colour scheme so its suitable for work.
My budget is £20-£30 and I would like a good quality one that's going to last a few years. The closest I have seen is the north face jester but at £35 its a bit more than I want to pay.
Can anyone recommend a bag or am I asking for too much with my budget?
    Thanks

there was a karrimor bag deal posted before and people were saying the quality of karrimor was awful...

I have this one. Very good quality bag.

Little big for your requirement I guess....

    For value-for-money I'd take this:

I would say Karrimor quality is variable. Go to a Sportsdirect near you, see the bag, see what you think. For £15 I'd give it a whirl.

For backpack quality I'd go for Deuter every time. Of course quality, and unique features, do not come cheap. Depends what type of cycling you are talking about.

You sure you need 30l? I took 40l to backpack around SE Asia for 1 month.

Thank you for all the suggestions guys.
I think I'm going to take a look at the Karrimor one in sports direct this weekend. Then make a decision between the Karrimor Urban, Jansport Trinity and the Deuter Giga (seems a bargain on ebay - http://****.co.uk/ws/…dll?ViewItem&item=230553362126&category=52357&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619)
I don't think ill need more than 35L because I don't need to fit too much in it. At most: A4 folder, 2 textbooks, pencil case, 2 tupperware pots of food and a couple of protein shaker cups. The cycling I'm doing is only to and from uni or to the shops, nothing crazy.

Any more suggestions are more than welcome!

    @cpsmith - I meant 30l being too big!!
I used to think 30l was a minimum then my partner got a Deuter AC Lite 16l...I was corrected (again!)

The Deuter Giga price is a steal so you know which one I would go for! Check out the reviews on the Wiggle website.

I'm pretty sure I need 30L, I currently have a 24L eastpak and its too small to get everything I need in, and what I do get in is crammed in to bursting point.
I'm not really sure about that eBay listing, nowhere else seems to sell this version of the bag (not Giga Office, Pro or Flat) and there isn't really much info on the bag (like capacity), I've tried emailing the seller and he's totally useless.

28L - same as the Giga office.

Loads of other places. Looks as though it is a version sold in the UK. Some Deuter bags are only available in overseas markets.
