£300 to spend on Gfx card and memory, suggestions please.

Hello all,

After 9-years my PC has finally given up the ghost and retired itself from active service, quite possible Borderlands 3 was the last straw (i5-2500k and Radeon 7850 2gb just about ran it with some minor stuttering).

I've not kept up with the tech over the years so find myself a bit lost as to what hardware to get.

I have bought the following so far.

AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 3.2Ghz cpu (via a link on HUKD)
MSI B450M Mortar Max mobo

The choice of gfx card and memory has me a bit stumped though and my remaining budget is limited to £300.

I'll be using my PC for gaming mostly, though I'm not overly fussed about having games maxed out, just like them to run decently enough.

Any help would be appreciated.

That does come in under budget, which is nice.

Thank you.
Massive Jump in graphics card and VR ready.
heh, gotta love that 200% increase in pretty much everything
I would suggest GTX 1660 super instead...
I shall take a look at it also, thank you.
