Hi, I'm looking at getting a 37" TV for a decent price. I am purely going to use it for Xbox 360, freeview TV and maybe a few DVDs. Can anybody reccomend anything? I've been looking at the Toshiba and Panasonic ones so far as these seem to be the best value for money. I'm looking at getting 1080p and also 100mhz although I'm unsre as to the benefits of these. Can anybody help me and maybe post a few suggestions?

unless you're going for a blu ray or ps3, 1080p is not needed

Um, just reduce that to Blu-ray. With the exception of a very few, all PS3 games are 720p.

Also, the 360 happily outputs at 1080p.

OP - unless you plan to run the TV via the PC at 1920 x 1080 there's not much point at 1080p right now. All depends on what content you're playing back on the PC tho.

If you're only going to be spending £400 on a 37" telly, don't expect much for your money.

For instance, you can get the TH-37PX8B Panasonic 37" Plasma from Amazon for £529 and would literally knock spots off any 37" LCD.
