A wise man once told me that Rockstar would do anything to avoid creating single player content for GTA V, I'm starting to think he could be right...

Today, we're proud to announce new versions of the blockbuster detective thriller L.A. Noire, are scheduled to release on November 14, 2017 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Alongside these three new console versions, we're taking our first steps into virtual reality with L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files, featuring seven select cases from the original game rebuilt specifically for a virtual reality experience on the HTC VIVE.

Set against the seedy and violent underbelly of 1940’s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire is the story of decorated veteran and newly minted detective Cole Phelps as he investigates an escalating series of cases inspired by real-world crimes. Each successfully solved case brings Phelps greater success, but also brings him closer to the dark criminal heart of post-war L.A.

L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for HTC Vive delivers seven of the original engrossing, self-contained cases from L.A. Noire rebuilt specifically for virtual reality, blending breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience.

L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch features the complete original game and all additional downloadable content, with specific enhancements including a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.

L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, including enhanced lighting and clouds, new cinematic camera angles, high resolution textures and more. Plays natively in 1080p for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and stunning 4K for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, these versions capture the grit and grime of the City of Angels like never before.

Keep wishing for that new single player content for GTA, I would of liked a Bully 2 but rumor is that will apear after RDR2.

If I hadnt of played L.A Noire I would pick this up, but been there.....done that.

This is definitely the remaster generation.

Even the PS4 and XB1 have had remasters...

Unfortunatly i dont see them ever doing a Bully 2, at least not one similar to the original, it wasnt as big as their other games and the content would take alot of flak these days.

Out of Read Dead Redemption, GTAV, Bully or hell, even the PS2 GTA Trilogy, they chose to put LA Noire on Switch?

Who even wanted this on PS4 or X1 for that matter? Odd choice by Rockstar/Take Two

So ShopTo has the preorder for the PS4/XO at £29.86 (With a stated RRP of £34.99 shopto.net/vid…ire
The switch is at £39.85 shopto.net/nin…ire
I still own it on xbox 360 with the 'season pass' so unless there is a noticeable difference I can't see me investing in it

The RRP is stated as £44.99, which is higher than the PS4/XO versions, unless the switch version took more work to do hah.

Switch has the motion control stuff...... that's the extra cost right there hahaha

tbh though if I do get a switch I will get this because godfather on the Wii is still one of my fave gaming experiences- the motion control stuff in that game was awesome.

Pass. The only remasters I would buy are Dark Souls, Demon's Souls (do a double pack Bamco, just for UK/EU!) and a Motorstorm trilogy.

...and "Killzone 2" & "Killzone 3" for PlayStation 4 (with online multiplayer) as "...Shadow Fall" was nowhere near as good).

Also, I still have my fingers-crossed for "Urban Reign" (or even a follow-up title) & remasters of "Nightmare Creatures" (I & II).

Another "Split/Second [:Velocity]" I would play too.
