If anyone can help me source the cheapest but decent card for this camera.

I started searching play.com and I found this:
It comes with the reader but it's out of stock.

@ eBuyer they've got one for £25.70 inc VAT
FREE Delivery and is also the cheapist.

dont buy cheap (and slow) memory cards for your DSLR. It's a flase economy.

Get 2 of these for a few £ more (dont forget to get quidco on them too) and you'll get much better response. Remember a 2gb card will take 260ish pictures in RAW and 800ish in JPEG.

I got the same camera. best card to get is the is the Sandisk 4gb sdhc...

Sandisk 4gb for £17.99. Can't be beat as far as I see.

I'm a little confused by the newer SDHC format. Which is better/faster?

SanDisk Extreme III SD or a SanDisk SDHC Class 2 (as in kahunaxxx's link).

I need a memory card for a Nikon D80.

Kahuna's link is for the standard SDHC (minimum speed 2MB/s)

The Extreme III will read/write @ 20MB/s. Personally I'd go for the Extreme III everytime (especially with a D80). You can get SDHC in Extreme and Ultra flavours if you really need the larger capacity cards (check play.com for reasonable prices)
