    £50-£100.

yeh its worth about £95 computer alone
include monitor, if u feel generous give them £150, mind that a PSU will set you back around £30 for someting like that

£50. You still got to upgrade the RAM. NEW PSU NEW GRAPHICS. Its very old technology.

The day you buy a machine you knock 15%-20% off original price.

Your talking standard cheap parts by the look of things.

    £80,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    Cheese Sandwhich

Thank you for all the comments, think I will give £80, as a new PSU will be £60 corsair 450HX, stick the new PSU in my current PC and put my exisitng PSU in this. Guess another £30 on memory will help kick it into the modern age.... Thank you all for such prompt and amusing comment....

If the PSU has gone, it may have taken other components with it .....:whistling:
I have seen more than one motherboard fry when a PSU goes.

    Also a true story.

Maybe testing your PSU in there before buying the parts would be sensible.

Tell them to give you £20 to take it off their hands.

    .....A brick,.....doorstop,....take your pick

take them out for a nice meal might be better or giftcard rather than cold cash. may appreciate the effort more than the value

I would not give them ANYTHING until you have got it home, put in a new PSU and proved it works.

Only then once you have proved there is nothing wrong with it should you give them any money.

I doubt they could get much for it on the open market with a broken PSU.

    £150?!!!
Try £50 MAX this is outdated, and broken!
If I were OP and looking anywhere near £150 + more for a PSU I'd say no thanks and go buy a new one.
