Posted 9th Mar
A city centre fish and chip restaurant is celebrating its second anniversary in Grand Central station, with fantastic offers across the next two months.

Tasty Plaice customers can enjoy 50 per cent off all takeaway food ordered in-store from March 9 to 15. The offer is valid all day (Monday to Saturday 11 to 9pm and Sunday 11 to 6pm) for the whole week on all meals.

As well as the usual chip shop favourites (scampi and chips, southern fried chicken and chips, sausages, kebabs and fishcakes) the chain also offers a range of halal and vegetarian options such as vegetarian sausages and halloumi, as well as its signature Black Country famous battered chips.

Ideal for a family meal or a light bite, a kid’s menu is also available with a range of options including chicken and cod bites.

Store manager, Hazel Thompson said: “We’re excited to be celebrating our second anniversary in Grand Central Station and have lots of offers and competitions planned over the next couple of months for our wonderful customers to take advantage of to mark this milestone.

“The last two years in Birmingham have been wonderful and we’re so grateful to all of our new and loyal customers who continue to support us. We’re working hard behind the scenes to develop our menu

I'm going to be going through Grand Central, Brum, tomorrow. I might call in but not if their half price is the same as a normal chippie's full price.
Stopped by. No mention of its second anniversary in the window. £7.49 for fish & chips and a traditional side so unless they usually charge £14.98, it doesn't look good
