    What car?

It could be one of a few things, but saying what car may help.

    Could be worn ball joints.

Is it both ways or predominently one side?

Probably best to get a mechanic to give it a quick check over.

    cv joints

Drive shaft!! Is it like a clicking noise?

Ok, well I don't know the civic, but it can be the top suspension mounts.

Could be many things........personally i'd take it to the garage in the morning and get them to have a look for you.

They'll be able to tell you after a quick waggle and feel. :-D

Get them to have a look and tell you what it is and quote you and then tell them you'll get other quotes and get back to them after you've rung round.

have you got large alloy wheels on the car?

one or both front suspension springs broken if it happens when stationary or cv joints if on lock when moving.

does it happen on every trip ,

probably got jimmy saville stuck under ya car

think only happens when moving i mean i dont turn the wheel when stationary so wouldnt know

If it clicks on full lock it's probably cv joints as said before
