A good time to buy a new big Plasma/LCD TV?

Found 17th Oct 2008
Hi, should have enough in my goodies fund to buy a new TV v soon. I was thinking of waiting till New year to see if there was any decent PS3 bundles like last year.
Was watching TV the other day...the guy was saying TV prices will go up in the near future he was saying xmas) as many factories in China are shutting down due to the 'slowdown'. I would have thought it'll take a bit longer than that to affect the price plus surely they need to shift old stock/technology out .....but ...what are your thoughts? Buy now, buy at xmas, buy later?

u should have gone to the curry in wednesbury yesterday- plasmas for £250 etc

It's like buying anything else - within a month whatever you bought will be cheaper or an upgraded version will be available.

My advice is: pick what you want to buy, then decide when you want to buy, then near to the time look round for the best deal. Otherwise you will be umm-ing & aah-ing for ever!
