A man armed with a knife and flammable fluid injured six people in an attack on a Swiss train on Saturday

A police statement said the assailant was a 27-year-old Swiss citizen and that he was also injured in the incident and hospitalized, as were his six victims - three adults, two 17-year-olds and a child aged 6 - with stab and burn wounds.

Police in St. Gallen canton (state) say the incident happened early Saturday afternoon as the train neared the station in Salez.
