To apply for the AA Credit Card please check you can answer yes to the qualifying criteria:

# I am currently employed
# I am a UK resident and can prove residential addresses for the past two years
# I am a homeowner
# I have an income of over £20,000
# I have not applied for an MBNA or Virgin Credit Card within the last 6 months
# I am over 21 years of age
# I dont have any recent credit defaults, county count judgements (CCJs) or been made bankrup

I have an excellent credit rating but when I applied for this I was rejected because I had one bank charge within the past year (bank's fault). I was also rejected by Amazon for their MBNA card because they told me I had an student overdraft which I had not paid back for some time (and why would I if it was interest free!!).

In the past I have had credit cards from Barclaycard, Citibank, HSBC, Halifax, Nationwide to name a few but MBNA don't seem to like me!
