    AA NiMH rechargeable batteries

Looking for some NiMH batteries as quite a few of my old ones have now RIP.

Currently I find Amazon has the best price of £5.51 for pack of 4 Uniross 2700mAh. By ordering 3 packs will qualify for free delivery.

Any better deal out there than this? :? Not necessary has to be 2700mAh or Uniross brand. Just the best price performance ratio is what I'm after.

Both Aldi and Lidl often have them (every few months or so) for £2 for 4

I really recommend these Hybrio batteries. They are significantly better at retaining their charge. Although they have a lower power rating they are much better in real world situations...

Amazon don't appear to sell them without a charger at the moment

I'd be suprised if those batteries even work.

Yeah they do, I use them all the time in low power appliances and they're good for emergencies.
They are actually Ni-cd 800 mAh.

    Horses for courses

Ni-CD is not suitable for me. From time to time I use the batteries for things that eat batteries for breakfast i.e. my SLR camera
