Hello, I'm looking at buying a tumble dryer and found this aawholesale website, which sales the dryer am after at a very low price, but can't find information about the company, has anyone dealt with them, are they trustworthy, can anyone help? Everywhere I look the dryer am after has gone £30 to £40 since yesterday! Thanks for your help (again)

No mention of limited company name on website which suggests sole trader, as does the only contact telephone number which is a mobile rather than a landline. Domain name is registered to an individual and has existed for around for 2 years. Current 97% feedback rating on ebay but only a comparatively small number of ratings. Only two immediate thoughts: consider the implications of dealing with what may be a small or even one-person operation with your expectations for any aftersales support; definitely worth a read of the seller's ebay t&c to see if acceptable and / or if applied to purchase via another route - especially re the suggested requirement for professional appliance installation.

Thanks a lot for that, didn't think to check eBay, though I know that big brands trade on there too, turns out ao is selling that dryer for cheaper than on their website, which I find strange as the incur fees for selling there!!! Oh! The world of online retail baffles me everyday a little more

Try this place in Leicester....we've used them a couple of times now. Good prices and service

theappliancedepot.co.uk/

They sell ex-display and slightly damaged appliances (usually a scratch on one side of appliance etc, which is often hidden when installed)

Also don't forget markselectrical.co.uk/...…her good Leicester retailer

Thanks for the info, will check them out, though live in Surrey so might be a bit far for delivery but worth a look anyway

No worries, I saw their website, and since their price is very low, I don't think that the courier would bring the price to where it's at at the no, anyway, should I ever move to Leicester, I have a good idea of where to buy my appliances

Oooh, thanks! I did look at them but delivery was a bit late, but the time the dryer'd come my pile of washing would be the size of the Kilimanjaro anyway, am so beaten by this whole dryer saga, think I'm going to forget about it for a while nd let it reach the size of Snowdonia

Thanks for the advice, made by Germans, sure to last anyway, might have found a solution to my broken dryer thanks to a nice bunch of hukders, who've helped me troubleshoot the issue and even helped find the piece needed (maybe) I love this place, full of nice and helpful people
