i meant linux by the way

XP and Windows 7 both fine, I've currently got XP on my Acer one and runs well!

you can put on XP, just need to make a bootable USB stick.

There should be a slide button on the front (to the right) to turn the wireless on or off.

Use a nLited XP on mine. Easy to follow guide ]here.

using xp on mine got rid of linux and installed xp via an xbox 360 hd dvd drive all drivers from acers website only thing ive noticed is battery life is less running windows

just be aware that if it is an 8gb SSD model, then XP will run like a dog. Not sure what Windows 7 will run like

Running Win7 on mine. Sometimes it blue screens with no reason given! 1.5gb A150.

[FONT=Verdana]If you can confirm the exact model, we can point out a few guides for you to check out with regards to installing Windows XP/Vista/7 or another Linux distribution or even Mac OS X! :-D

You should also consider checking out the Acer Aspire One User Community and Forum, which has a large group of owners present on it along with multiple guides on software & hardware related topics as well along with reviews.

[FONT=Verdana]Which BIOS version do you have installed?

There was an issue seen regarding that on an older deal thread (the Asda AAO Deal earlier in the year) and it was a BIOS related issue from what I can remember of it - a member had found an article either over on the Acer Aspire One User Community's Forum or the Macles Blog, which had confirmed it.
