    Acer erecovery management

got a problem with me lappy and have tried to resolve it but have no clue whether it is a software or hardware issue, i think i will have to resort to system backups, i made my factory default backups with acer erecovery management, anyone used it to restore a system before?? will it completely resotre the system to the same effect as a windows boot disc??

    thanks

Had to do this just last week. Resets the C: drive to the state it came when you first got it. If you had a data partition D Drive that is untouched.

Its a pain in the ass but lappy is back working as it should, just had to redownload a years worth of vista updates and get rid of all the crap that comes as free trials.

    anyone else used it???

Had a dodgy update with Firefox which wouldnt let me access the net, serach online for a solution but the problem seemed to be somewhere in the registry and I couldnt for the life of me find the offending entry.

System restore put it back to normal and its been fine since.
