acer vista upgrade still not workin!!!:-(

    hi on jan 6th bought a 5102wlmi from comet.
    On jan 28th put in order for upgrade from media center to vista home premium. Got a confirmation but a week later i still hadnt sent my proof of purchase off. Took a photo and sent them it in an email. Then on 11th feb tried to view my existing order and got:
    ''The provided order number or Certificate of Authentication number is no longer available in our system. Please click here to contact customer service."
    so i emailed customer service.
    Then on jan 12th got a email back replying to my email with the proof of purchase photo saying:
    "Dear Customer,

    Thank you for your interest in the upgrade redemption program.

    Your order is currently in the validation process. You will be notified
    within the next five business days of its validation status and any
    other requirements needed to finalize your order. Thank you for your
    cooperation in this matter.

    now i dont have a clue whats going on and was hoping someone on here could give me some advice or something along those lines?

    Sounds to me that they are dealing with it and it is in the validation process..I'd give it a week and then chase it up by email.

    Don't get yourself worked over this; the way it's being handled is a joke for everyone. I know people who have been waiting 3+ weeks just for confirmations :x
