It is complete b.s, they claim it's not a pyramid scheme but the business relies on recruiting more reps. Each rep pays £390 and if you get 100 reps you'll get a one off £20,000 bonus. While ACN just made £370,000. Whos the real winner?

They look good, because they have everyday products to sell, which any door salesman could sell. Who doesn't want to be their own boss and run their own team. They pretend to be an affiliates program, which is why students are attracted to them.

My advice to anyone, avoid, avoid and avoid.

They are in the classic 'potzi' sense, but it's doesn't take much to tweak them. Any and all upselling is riding that line. People involved in these kind of things are usually quick with links or image macros detailing how they're not one, or any company with a ceo at the top is pyramid shaped etc etc. Always missing the fact that if you're involved with something that requires this kind of pre-prepared defence then.. you know...

Similar to recruitment agencies.

Previous discussion thread, in which someone lost money with this stuff, is located http://www.hotukdeals.com/tag/ask/anyone-joined-acn-legit-just-a-scam-1663824?utm_source=Thread%2BSubscription&utm_medium=email&utm_content=1663824&utm_campaign=Comment%2BUpdate

These multi level marketing schemes are supposedly allowed, because they have an actual gimmick to sell (eg: telephone services, food supplements etc). This means that the referral business of recruiting new agents is "supposedly" only a secondary income and not its primary purpose, which would be illegal.
