Actual Height and Width of screen on a 22" Monitor ?

I know it sounds a bit of a daft question but I currently use a 32" LCD TV for a monitor but I am thinking of downgrading in screen size to a 22" Fujitsu Amilo 3220T full HD monitor. I was wondering if anyone who has a 22" monitor could measure the exact screen hieght and width so I can compare the two.

Thanks in advance for your help

diagonally from 1 corner to another will be 22"?

the actual monitor size will differ dependant on the casing

Dimensions (WxDxH): 51 cm x 21.5 cm x 40.2 cm

OK Thanks

It depends on the shape of a the monitor, a 4:3 screen will have a different width to a 16:10 one which will have a different width to a 16:9 one. As it's marketed as full HD I assume it's either 16:10 or 16:9.

The panel on a 22" 16:10 will be 474.1 x 296.3 mm, while the panel on a 22" 19:9 will be 487.2 x 274 mm. Obviously you'll need to add a centimetre or two for the surround, and the height may be a lot higher as quite a few monitors don't go all the way down to the desktop (often cheaper ones aren't even height adjustable at all!).
