Add eSata/USB3.0 ports in laptop CD drive bay?

As above - I know you can get converters placed in your laptop optical bay to put an SSD or another hard disk in it - but can you get one that also puts eSata, USB3.0 or even gigabit ports via the internal socket in your laptop?

Do you have a PCI Express adapter slot?
My old laptop had one.

Then you could add something like this:

Nope - doesn't have any expansion slots. Just the optical bay.

esata would be possible of sorts but very crude but gigabit lan no.
