Advice needed! Has anyone heard of/used SEASONSHOLIDAYS.COM?

Hi all, I got a letter today to say I had won a prize worth £3750. It was recored delivery. It states that I won a prize draw that I entered (I don't remember, I enter them now and then but forget all about it!) I had to authenticate my 'win' by ringing a freephone number. I did this and my 'prize' is.............. a free weeks accommodation at one of their resorts and discounted rates in the UK resorts. Also I am invited to a Major prize-winner's day in the Seasons Holidays box at Sandown Park Racecourse to watch the Seasons Holidays Tingle Creek Steeplechase as guests with VIP parking and a champagne brunch alongside Derek Thompson (C4 racing).

What a good prize, until they tell me I have to pay for membership!

    Anyone have any experience please?!

I'm cynical to begin with, but i've never won a "prize" that i've had to pay for. Check the wording of the letter if it reads something like......"you've been chosen to recieve, etc" then it is a scam, but totally legal. It can only tell you you've won if that's actually the case.

Bin It.! I received a letter just the same and I know I never entered the draw. Its a con and nothing else! Believe me.

I never trust things like this! If you've won something, you've won it, so no need to pay a penny for anything. If you won the lottery, you wouldn't then have to pay (afterwards) to claim your prize...........

Thank you all, exactly what I thought! Choc, I have just been on their website, it is so restricted, would rather choose my own destination!

All repped for your feedback. X.

    You're right there Choc!

Just got one of these too. I would expect that internet comps would let you know first of all by email.
or in my lucky experience phone.

Bstrds! is all I can say. Glad I double checked here before going any further . Seems that according to further Google searches, some internet competitions are just there to grab your details for this very purpose.
