    advice needed re: toslink (optic) audio cable

    need to use 10m length. Given that the cable carries a light signal will there be any quality difference in sound signal between different priced cables? Also any pointers to best priced 10m cable would be appreciated.

    You will have no problem with a 10m length, the inside of the insulation of the cable is reflective, so keeps the light locked in. I use a 7.5m, and have no problems, i think i bought from ebay. Thanks

    My thoughts exactly. I cant believe people pay 20-30 quid extra for gold plated terminals. WTF!
