Advice needed regarding Ebay buyer using an echeque.

I just had a buyer win an ebay item, now he wants to pull out. I am more than happy to cancel the transaction (item will sell in less than 24hrs) which was made by echeque.

Just need to know are there any fees i need to know about before I cancel the deal?

Anything I need to be aware about echeques in light of the situation?

Thanks in advance for any help.

i think if you cancel the transaction you get your fees back.

I have just had to sort one like this today. The buyer can cancel his e cheque payment. You then need to th resolution centre and say you want to cancel the transaction (you will need the transaction number). Ebay will then ask the buyer if he agrees that he wants the transaction cancelled - when he has done this you will get your Ebay final value fee back.

you can cancel the deal but the other party has to agree, if they agree tou will get your fees back, e cheques are a pain they normally take 7 days to clear
